Carme Pinos (Barcelona, 1954). Arquitecta titulada por la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona. Funda su primer estudio junto a su pareja, Enric Miralles (Barcelona, 1955 – Sant Feliu de Codines, 2000). Tras divorciarse, funda el suyo propio. Compagina su actividad como arquitecta con la docencia en diversas universidades: ha sido profesora invitada en la University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1994-1995), en la Kunstakademie de Dusseldorf (1996-1997) o en la Columbia University de Nueva York (1999).
Premio Nacional de Arquitectura 2021, Premio Internacional Francés de Mujeres Arquitectas, Richard J. Neutra Medal for Professional Excellence 2016 y el Berkeley-Rupp Prize 2016.En 2012 fue nombrada International Fellow del Royal Institute of British Architects, y en el 2011 Honorary Member del American Institute of Architects.

Carme Pinós (Barcelona, 1954) is an architect who graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB).
She co-founded her first studio with her then-partner, Enric Miralles (Barcelona, 1955 – Sant Feliu de Codines, 2000). After their divorce, she established her own practice, balancing her architectural work with teaching at various universities. She has been a visiting professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1994-1995), the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (1996-1997), and Columbia University in New York (1999).
Her work has been widely recognized with prestigious awards, including the 2021 National Architecture Prize (Spain), the French International Prize for Women Architects, the Richard J. Neutra Medal for Professional Excellence (2016), and the Berkeley-Rupp Prize (2016).
She was named an International Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (2012) and an Honorary Member of the American Institute of Architects (2011).
