Fernando de Porras-Isla-Fernández Rodríguez de los Ríos
Arquitecto por la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, 1984.
Ha sido profesor asociado de proyectos arquitectónicos en la Universidad de Castilla y León (Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de Valladolid, 1997-2000), en la Universidad de Castilla La Mancha (Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de Toledo, 2016-2020) y de Diseño Urbano en la Universidad Europea de Madrid, 2012-2018). Director y editor de la Revista Arquitectura (1991-1993), publicada por el Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid, de la Revista Bau (1993-2002) publicada por los Colegios Oficiales de Cantabria, Castilla y León Este, Castilla La Mancha y León. Es coautor del Diccionario Metápolis de Arquitectura Avanzada (Ed Actar 2000) y del libro Paisajes en la Ciudad (Ed Turner 2015). Sus proyectos y obras construidas han sido publicados en medios nacionales e internacionales como Phaidon, A+U, Lotus Internacional, Quaderns, Arquitectura o Arquitectura Viva.
Asociado a Lorenzo Fernández-Ordóñez y Aránzazu La Casta, ha realizado, recientemente, los siguientes proyectos:
Teatro de Ópera en Tres Cantos. Primer Premio. Concurso Internacional, Parque Central de Madrid Nuevo Norte. Primer Premio. Concurso Internacional Restringido, Remodelación de la Plaza de España, Madrid. Primer Premio. Concurso Internacional Abierto, Construcción de Siete Puentes Paisaje en Lingang City. Primer Premio. Concurso Restringido, Urbanización del entorno del estadio Santiago Bernabéu Urbanización de la avenida del General Perón.
Es coautor del proyecto Madrid Río.
Ha recibido múltiples premios por su obra construida entre los que destacan:
Premio COAM 2023 (Plaza de España) , Premio de la XVI XIII y XII Bienales Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo 2023 y 2016 (Plaza de España y Madrid Río), Premio Architecture Awards. The Chicago Atheneum 2023 y 2016 (Plaza de España y Madrid Río), Gran Premio COAM 50 años 2022 (Madrid Río), Premio Hispania Nostra al patrimonio como factor de desarrollo social 2016 (Madrid Río), Premio Veronica Rudge Green Harvard University 2015 (Madrid Río), Premio FAD de Arquitectura 2012 (Matadero Madrid), Premio FAD de Ciudad y Paisaje 2012(Madrid Río), Premio CICA Awards 2011Comité Internacional de Críticos de Arquitectura Bienal de Buenos Aires (Madrid Río).

He has been an associate professor of architectural projects at the University of Castilla y León (Higher School of Architecture of Valladolid, 1997-2000), at the University of Castilla La Mancha (Higher School of Architecture of Toledo, 2016-2020) and urban design at the European University of Madrid, 2012-2018). Director and editor of the Magazine Architecture (1991-1993), published by the Official College of Architects of Madrid, of Bau magazine (1993-2002) published by the official schools of Cantabria, Castilla y León Este, Castilla La Mancha y León. He is co -author of the Metapolis Dictionary of Advanced Architecture (Ed Actar 2000) and the Book Landscapes in the city (Ed Turner 2015). His projects and works built have been published in national and international media such as Phaidon, A+U, Lotus International, Quaderns, Architecture or Living Architecture.
Associated with Lorenzo Fernández-Oráñez and Aránzazu La Casta, the following projects have recently carried out:
Opera theater in three songs. First prize. International Contest, Central Park of Madrid Nuevo Norte. First prize. Restricted international competition, remodeling of the Plaza de España, Madrid. First prize. Open international competition, construction of seven landscape bridges in Lingang City. First prize. Restricted contest, urbanization of the surroundings of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium Urbanization of General Perón Avenue.
He is co -author of the Madrid Rio project.
He has received multiple awards for his work built among which are:
