Lorenzo Fernández-Ordóñez
Arquitecto por la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid en 1992. Pensionado en la Academia Española de Historia, Arqueología y Bellas Artes en Roma 1993-1994. Profesor de Paisaje y Urbanismo en la Escuela de Arquitectura de Alicante (2000-2003) y profesor en la Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad Europea desde el año 2005. Socio fundador de Estudio Guadiana y de Porras Guadiana Arquitectos.
Colaboró con su padre, José A. Fernández-Ordóñez, en intervenciones urbanas, de Ingeniería Civil y en el Territorio como el Proyecto Eduardo Chillida Montaña Tindaya en Fuerteventura, o la pasarela Pedro Arrupe, frente al Museo Guggenheim en Bilbao.
Sus proyectos han sido seleccionados para en la VIII Muestra de jóvenes Arquitectos Españoles, la VIII, XIV y XVI Bienal de Arquitectura Española, así como la I, IV y la VIII Bienal Europea de Paisaje, Premio trianual COAL de Urbanismo, paisaje y diseño urbano 2004, seleccionado por la Fundación Camuñas para la VIII Muestra de jóvenes Arquitectos Españoles (2004) Premio COAM 2023. Seleccionado para los premios de Arquitectura del CSCAE 2024.
Ha sido ganador de varios concursos y su obra ha sido publicada en diversas revistas especializadas tanto nacionales como internacionales, como AV, Pasajes, Conarquitectura, Arquitectura, Arquitectos, Via Arquitectura, ON, BAU, Quaderns, OP, Anthos, Bauen und landschaft, DBZ. Es miembro del comité editorial de la colección “Arquitecturas” de la Editorial Catarata.
De los proyectos recientes en Madrid realizados en asociación con Fernando Porras-Isla y Aránzazu La Casta sobresalen: La Remodelación de la Plaza de España (Primer Premio Concurso Internacional), el Puente de la Concordia entre Valdebebas y la T4 (Primer Premio Concurso Internacional), Urbanización del entorno del estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Urbanización de la avenida del General Perón y el Parque Central de Madrid Nuevo Norte (primer Premio Concurso Internacional). En la actualidad desarrolla el proyecto del Teatro de Ópera en Tres Cantos (Primer Premio Concurso Internacional)

Lorenzo Fernández-Ordóñez
Architect for the Higher Technical School of Architecture in Madrid in 1992. Pensioner at the Spanish Academy of History, Archeology and Fine Arts in Rome 1993-1994. Landscape and Urban Planning Professor at the School of Architecture of Alicante (2000-2003) and professor at the European University School of Architecture since 2005. Founding Partner of Guadiana Study and Porras Guadiana Architects.
He collaborated with his father, José A. Fernández-Iordóñez, in urban interventions, civil engineering and in the territory such as the Eduardo Chillida Montaña Tindaya project in Fuerteventura, or the Pedro Arrupe catwalk, in front of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
His projects have been selected for the VIII shows young Spanish architects, the VIII, XIV and XVI Spanish Architecture Biennial, as well as the I, IV and the VIII European Biennial of Landscape, Trianual Prize Coal of Urban Planning, Landscape and Urban Design 2004, selected by the Camuñas Foundation for the VIII shows of young Spanish architects (2004) Coam 2023. CSCAE 2024.
He has been the winner of several competitions and his work has been published in various national and international specialized magazines, such as AV, Pasajes, Conarquitectura, Architecture, Architects, Via Architecture, On, Bau, Quaderns, OP, Anthos, Bauen und Landschaft, DBZ. He is a member of the Editorial Committee of the “Architectures” collection of the Editorial Catarata.
Of the recent projects in Madrid carried out in association with Fernando Porras-Isla and Aránzazu, the caste stand out: the remodeling of the Plaza de España (First International Contest Prize), the Bridge of Concord between Valdebebas and the T4 (First International Contest Prize), Urbanization of the Environment of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Urbanization of the General Perón Avenue and the Central Park of Madrid Nuevo Norte Norte (First International Contest Prize). He currently develops the opera theater project in three songs (first international competition prize)
